Letter from the Secretary of the Treasury

The following letter was received from Dr Martin Parkinson PSM who replaced Dr Ken Henry as the Secretary of The Treasury. Dr Ken Henry had a key role to play in the investigation into the Trio Capital Superannuation Fraud, that lead to compensation payments of $55 million to the victims of this superannuation fraud.   The Treasury 6 Ded 14     Note that mention is made of ASIC giving “extensive consideration to the issues raised” ,yet no mention is made of any “investigation” by ASIC. However Dr Parkinson does stated: “If any new information comes to light, I encourage you to bring this to ASIC’s attention“.
