Valid Deeds of Variation

The Regulations of the original Trust Deed that established the occupational pension trust included a Power of Amendment that allowed the terms of the original trust to be amended by subsequent Deeds of Variation (Amending Deeds).

All the valid Deeds of Variation were drafted by the Adelaide firm of solicitors, now known as Finlaysons.

The terms of the occupational pension trust established on the 23 December 1913 in the State of South Australia where also amended by the Elder Smith & Co Limited Provident Funds Act 1963 (SA), which added Regulation 49a.

There have been no further valid Deeds of Variation executed.

The Regulations amended by these Deeds of Variation have been consolidated and provided to the members of the fund in booklet form.
